How to Become an Official

Roller Hockey Canada has a Referee Certification Program for all its officials. Each Member League runs a Certification Clinic at the start of the season.

Referee Certification Course
The Certification Program consists of a 1-day course that includes both classroom and rink sessions. At the conclusion of the Certification Course, the officials will take a written exam that tests their knowledge of the inline rule book.

Successful completion of the Certification Course will entitle the officials to officiate in the member league games and potentially in local, provincial, national and international events. To find a Member League in your area, contact your Provincial Branch or check the league finder on our homepage.
